Bowerbird is thrilled to welcome master percussionist Tatsuya Nakatani back to the Philadelphia for both a solo set and leading the “Nakatani Large Ensemble”, a group consisting of workshop participants. Also on the evening will be CERBERUS- Alban Bailly (cello), Dan Capecchi (drums), and Matt Engle (bass) – a new Philadelphia based Trio that uses small compositional nodes to develop an ever moving improvisational musical core.The workshop is open to musicians of any level or style with a serious interest in free improvisation.
